Configure and troubleshoot fax support.
If a fax device (modem) is installed, the
Fax icon will appears in Control Panel. The
Advanced Options tab appears only if you are
logged on as an administrator or have
administrator privileges.
Fax Service Management overview Using Fax
Service Management, you can administer Fax
on your local computer or on other computers
on your network. By default, you are set up
to send a fax, not to receive a fax.
You can use Fax Service Management to:

Set up your fax devices to receive a
fax.

Change security permissions for users
set up to use the fax devices.

Set up how many rings occur before a fax
device answers a fax.

Set up how many retries are allowed
before the fax device ends the fax send.
